Caucasus Dialogue

The Caucasus Dialogue is an annual research and educational program for exchange of opinions on the issues of global politics and international relations, important for the Caucasus. The goal of the project is to create and develop a discussion platform for young experts from the countries of the region.

Participants of the event discuss problems of economy and security, war on terrorism and extremism, internal and external factors affecting the situation in the Caucasus region. The framework of the event includes lectures, roundtables, group work, business games and intellectual quizzes with the participation of experts, journalists, well-known politicians and scholars.

Who can become a participant?

  • young foreign affairs experts (Master’s and post-graduate students), political scientists, economists, journalists;

  • international journalists focusing on the issues of the Caucasus region;

  • representatives of NGOs focusing on international cooperation and public diplomacy;

  • young diplomats, public figures and governmental officials.

The list of the participants is formed based on results of the applications review.

Requirements to participants:

  • knowledge of Russian;

  • age 20-35;

  • a proactive approach to life and a desire to develop professionally.

Terms of participation:

The Gorchakov Fund will cover accommodation costs, meals, cultural program and transfers included in the program. The Fund will provide visa support.

How to apply?

Once the call for applications for participation in the new project is published, the applicants should complete an application form of the Gorchakov Fund and attach an essay (if required), a short bio, links to several publications/videos/podcasts in the media, a photo (face photo, light solid background, vertical position), and a copy of the passport.
