A Russian immigrant, who became a hero of France: Summary of the lecture by Olga Barkova about Irene du Loire

Today, on April 30, the Gorchakov Fund hosted another lecture from series of lectures "Women of the Russian Immigration of 1917-1939. Forgotten Names and Lives" authored by Dr. Olga Barkova, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, School of State Audit, Lomonosov Moscow State University. The lecture, organized on the eve of the Victory Day, was dedicated to hero of World War II, who risking her life was fighting in the European Resistance, – Irene du Loire or Russian immigrant Gali Bazhenova.
