"Expert's Opinion": Alexander Rahr on the Day of Memory and Sorrow

June 22 is the Day of Memory and Sorrow in Russia. Exactly 80 years ago the Great Patriotic War began, which took lives of almost twenty-seven million Soviet citizens.

Does Germany remember the June events of 1941? Why, according to Angela Merkel, "the Germans should be ashamed"? Is there a possibility for Moscow and Berlin to unite their efforts in order to protect historical truth?

Well-know German political scientist, Research Director of the German-Russian Forum, author of political thriller "2054: "Putin decoded" Alexander Rahr will answer these and other questions during the "Expert's Opinion" show.

The event will be available to watch live online on the Facebook page of the Gorchakov Fund on June 22 at 2:00 pm Moscow time.

A recording of the show will be published  on the YouTube channel of the Gorchakov Fund.
