Experts and young scientists discussed development of Russian-Belarusian cooperation in St. Petersburg

On September 23-24, the first session of international roundtable "The Union State and the Baltic States: A Perspective from Russia" was taking place at St. Petersburg State University. The event consisted of several expert discussion and group work by young scholars – students of St. Petersburg State University and Belarusian State University, who during foresight sessions built scenarios of development of Russian-Belarusian cooperation, analyzed the most effective tools of "soft power" and cultural diplomacy, and also tried to identify required steps for further integration of the two countries. The project of the Association of Baltic Studies is implemented thanks to a grant of the Gorchakov Fund and in partnership with St. Petersburg State University and the Institute of Europe RAS.
