The International Youth Forum "BRICS PLUS" will take place in India in a hybrid format on December 12-16. The Forum is organized by the International Youth Edu-Skills Foundation in association with the Confederation of Young Leaders and the Project Office for International Youth Cooperation “Russia-BRICS”. The project, presented by Akil Mokhammad
at the contest on the sidelines of the International Youth Forum "Eurasia Global" in 2021, received a grant of the Gorchakov Fund.
The International Youth Forum "BRICS PLUS" aims at brining together youth leaders, NGOs, youth activists, scholars, scientists, entrepreneurs and students from BRICS and friendly countries to provide better understanding and knowledge of BRICS and also to develop future cooperation in the fields of culture, science, youth, sport, business, and creative industries.
Who can attend?
Youth leaders, entrepreneurs, representatives of NGOs, journalists, activists, scholars, diplomats, experts, and interested parties in the areas of international cooperation, entrepreneurship, innovation and technologies, public diplomacy, art and culture; ages of 20-35 (age exceptions are possible depending on the project or ideas presented in the application form).

The delegates will be offered an opportunity to present their ideas, projects, products, organizations or companies to experts, delegates and participants of the forum. The forum will become an extraordinary platform for meeting new partners and receiving advice from experts and mentors. The delegates and the participants of the forum will be able to broaden their professional horizons, develop communication skills, and study specifics of cooperation among the BRICS countries – their positions on the global arena, prospects of institutionalization of the BRICS format, goals, and priorities of the alliance in the future.
The experts and the mentors at the forum will include top Indian and international experts and practitioners, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, ministries, and agencies, think tanks with considerable experience in BRICS studies.
English (interpretation from Russian to English or vice versa can be provided on request).
Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Serbia, Turkey, Iran, and Egypt. Participants from other interested countries are also welcome to apply.
Types of participation:
Delegates – those who present or share their ideas, projects, information about products, organization, or company.
Participants – attendees or visitors of the forum, who would like to obtain information about the BRICS PLUS format.
Upon completion of the forum, participants will receive a certificate of participation.
Terms of participation for delegates:
- participation in the forum is free of charge;
- flight to/from India, medical insurance and visa fees (if applicable) will be covered by the delegates themselves or by delegating organizations;
- accommodation, meals, local transfers in India and a cultural program for all delegates and experts of the forum will be provided by the organizers;
- visa invitations to international delegates and experts of the forum will be provided by the organizers.
Registration for the delegates for offline participation: October 1-31, 2021;
Registration for the delegates for online participation: November 1-15, 2021;
Registration for the participants (offline and online): November 1-30, 2021.
