A month of Russian culture was opened by performance of Tchaikovsky’s music in the state of New York
A magnificent concert dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893) opened the month of Russian culture in the state of New York in the evening of March 27. Fragments from music pieces of the great Russian composer – Aria of Lisa from the opera ”The Queen of Spades”, Symphony No. 6 in B minor “Pathetique” and “The Seasons”. In addition to that, the concert’s programs included music pieces by Skryabin, Rachmaninoff and Verdi.
