A school on development of civic awareness will be organized in Armenia – call for applications!
On February 27-March 4 the first international research and educational school “Development of Civic Awareness: Experience of Countries in the Eurasian Space” will be organized in Armenia (Dilijan). Organizers of the school are NGO “Russian-Armenian Youth Unity” and the Center for Public Diplomacy. The Gorchakov Fund will become a sponsor of the event.
The school will provide an opportunity for young experts and professionals to assess a level of influence of civic values on public life in the former Soviet republics. In addition to that, the participants will be able to present their own perspective on sociopolitical changes in their countries and abroad. The opinion of the youth about that issue is important from the point of view of commitment to the old order of sociopolitical relations and an opportunity to reevaluate civic values under conditions of the changing “post-Soviet” format.
The format of the event includes lectures, workshops and discussions, case analyses, practical studies, excursions and lectures at Central Bank of Armenia and International School UWC Dilijan.
The language of the event is Russian.
