Call for applications from young scientists to participate in the international scientific and expert forum “The Primakov Readings”

International forum “The Primakov Readings” – a discussion platform to talk about problems of world economy, politics and security with the participation of top representatives from Russian and foreign thinks tanks – will take place in Moscow on May 29-30. The event will be organized by Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations RAS and the Primakov Center for Foreign Policy Cooperation. The topic of the Primakov Readings – 2018 is “Risks of Unstable World Order”.

At the forum, IMEMO RAS jointly with the Primakov Center will organize a youth session in the form of a roundtable “Risks of Unstable World Order: A Perspective of the Youth”, during which its participants will have a chance to present their own vision of prospects for development of international relations. The roundtable will take place on May 28 at the Primakov Center.

Post-graduates and employees of higher educational institutions and think tanks, non-governmental and non-profit organizations, independent experts under 35 years of age (inclusive) specializing in the issues of world economy, politics and foreign affairs, international law, sociology and demography, modern and contemporary history are invited to participate in the contest.

Based on results of the competition, 15 young scientists will be selected, who will also attend the Primakov Readings and receive an opportunity to meet with top experts, former and current politicians and representatives of the business world.
