Call for applications to participate in the Caucasus Dialogue – 2017!
On July 3-7, the Caucasus Dialogue, one of the leading research and educational programs of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, will be held for the sixth time.
This time, the conference will be held in Pyatigorsk in partnership with Pyatigorsk State University. Representatives from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia as well as delegates from several Russian regions are invited to attend the forum.
The participants of the dialogue will discuss key trends of development of the Caucasus region during expert lectures, roundtables, business games and open discussions. The topics of the discussions will also include traditional and new risks, issues of configuration of the regional system of security, problems of extremism and terrorism, potential grounds for cooperation, a special role of public diplomacy, and issues related to coordination of media policy.
The participants of the project will have an opportunity to visit unique historical places, see local attractions and enjoy nature of the Caucasus.
The Caucasus Dialogue is called to become a platform for constructive discussions, which in the future can serve as a basis for a discussion of existing regional problems and prospects for cooperation on a higher level. Participation in the project will bring new meetings with interesting and enthusiastic people, give a chance to acquire excellent professional experience and result in many positive impressions.
