Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs met with participants of the Young Diplomats Forum
The third Young Diplomats Forum, organized by the Council of Young Diplomats under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia with support of the Gorchakov Fund, continues in Moscow. Young diplomats from Abkhazia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and South Ossetia are talking part in the event.
Deputy Executive Director of the Gorchakov Fund Roman Grishenin welcomed the participants of the forum. He mentioned that many of the attendees had taken part in research and educational programs of the Gorchakov Fund before, and members of the Gorchakov Fund’s Club of Friends were also present in the conference hall.
According to Roman Grishenin, nowadays, young professionals in the field of foreign policy were able to establish new concepts and promote new ideas in international relations.
The speaker stated that at present there was a need for conflicts resolution, which still existed in the post-Soviet space. Ways to prevent them could become topics of future fora of young diplomats.
Those topics could serve as a beginning of a remarkable diplomatic career for the young professionals, stressed Roman Grishenin.
Then, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov met with the participants. He shared a perspective of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on a number of burning issues of the foreign policy and international relations and answered questions from the audience.
