Experts believe that Russia should share security concerns within the framework of SCO

According to expert on the Caucasus Andrey Areshev, when taking into account a complicated and contradictory situation in Central Asia, Russia should invest, above all, into its own infrastructure, though when providing with arms it southern neighbors on special terms, it also acts in its own interests. However, concerns over security of Russia in the South need to be shared within the SCO’s framework with China and Iran, for which a threat of Islamists on the Afghani-Turkish border is also urgent. If efforts made by Moscow are not exclusive, Russia’s resources should be sufficient, believes the expert.
