Experts of the Gorchakov Fund told about the Arctic policy of Russia and international cooperation of NGOs at the forum “Donuzlav-2019”
On August 13, Youth Patriotic Camp-Forum “Donuzlav” has ended in Crimea. Among its 180 participants were representatives of Russia’s regions, Belarus, Donbass, Trans-Dniester and South Ossetia.
The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund delegated three experts to present to the international youth audience as part of the Program to Support Expert Mobility.
Deputy Editor-in-chief of News Agency Regnum Igor Pavlovsky discussed issues associated with the Arctic policy of Russia with the participants of the forum.
“I presented on the topic of the Arctic. The lecture was well received, they were listening with interest. The participants were asking many questions”, the speaker shared his impressions in an interview to NewsFront.
Director of the Center of International and Regional Policy Boris Kuznetsov covered practical aspects of work of non-governmental organizations in Russia.
Director of Center “New Initiative” (Belarus) Sergey Palagin told about potential cooperation between NGOs of Belarus and Russia.
The experts answered numerous questions from the audience on financing, activities of NGOs in Russia and prospects of development.
This year camp-forum “Donuzlav” was organized with the support of news agency NewsFront and the Russian All-People’s Union.
