Finlanders have voted against rapprochement with NATO and the EU: results of elections

The opposition has won at the parliamentary elections in Finland: the opposition Party of the Center has won the elections with 21.1% of votes, according to a correspondent of news agency REGNUM referring to the officially announced results. The second place was taken by the so-called party of Eurosceptics “True Finns” (17.6%), who are often referred to as a nationalistic party for their intolerance towards immigrants. Current ruling Coalition Party is on the third place followed by Social Democratic Party, Green Union, Left Union, Swedish People’s Party and Christian Democrats.
