Grigory Karasin in an interview to Kommersant: Active Russian-Georgian relations are developing thanks to the Gorchakov Fund and the Primakov Center
On February 27, a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, State Secretary Grigory Karasin with Special Representative of the Prime Minister of Georgia for Relations with Russia Zurab Abashidze took place in Prague. Following the negotiations, the Russian diplomat answered questions of Yelena Chernenko, a correspondent of Kommersant.
According to Mr. Karasin, it is great that cultural relations are actively developing.
The diplomat reminded that the Week of Russian Cinema took place in Georgia and Festival “St. Petersburg Meetings” was organized in Tbilisi while the Russia-Georgian Youth Forum was held in Moscow.
“Active relations are developing thanks to the Gorchakov Fund and the Yevgeny Primakov Center. All of that demonstrates that mutual attraction is much stronger than resentment. Many events have been organized by the Chambers of Commerce of both countries”, Kommersant quotes Mr. Karasin.
