International Youth Media School Grozny-2017 has opened

International Youth Media School Grozny-2017 has opened in the Chechen Republic.


Classes for journalists from Abkhazia, Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan were organized by the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, REGNUM New Agency and the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Chechen Republic.


Deputy Director of the Gorchakov Fund Roman Grishenin welcomed the participants when opening the media school.


As it was reported earlier, a discussion of specifics of the profession of a journalist under modern conditions, a study of legal provisions of journalism, and an introduction to new ways of overcoming stereotypes are planned to be held during the five-day program of the forum. Maser classes on using social media and new media technologies when creating one’s own media will be organized.


The classes will be taught by representatives of top Russian media, popular bloggers, public figures, and politicians.

The media school will end on July 21.
