NGO courses of the Gorchakov Fund: Call for applications!

The Gorchakov Fund begins accepting applications from leaders and project managers of NGOs working in the area of foreign affairs. The format of the NGO Courses of the Gorchakov Fund was designed with the goal of introducing representatives of Russian and foreign non-governmental organizations to principles, methods and opportunities of implementation of international projects.

The attendees of the NGO Courses will have the following opportunities:

  • meetings with representatives of field-specific Russian ministries and agencies;

  • consultations with representatives of Russian organizations – grant operators in the area of public diplomacy;

  • joint work with the team of the Gorchakov Fund on design and development of the projects;

  • meeting representatives of NGOs from other countries and regions, joining the NGO professional community and establishing relations with new partners;

  • lectures on public diplomacy and the role of NGOs in international relations;

  • master classes in fundraising, promotion of projects in mass media, working with social media and other key areas of implementation of international projects.

When and where?

In Moscow on February 26-29, 2020 (including arrival and departure dates)

Requirements to the participants:

  • represented NGOs should have experience in implementation of projects in the area of international relations;

  • NGO representatives should possess personal experience in implementation of public diplomacy projects.

Terms of participation:

  • the Gorchakov Fund will cover accommodation, meals, training as part of the program and will provide visa support;

  • attendees will pay for their travel expenses to/from Moscow, transfer from the airport to the hotel and back, and the Russian visa fees (if needed);

  • working language is Russian.
