Online discussion “The Georgian-Russian Dialogue: Economy during the Pandemic” will take place on May 1
On May, 1, the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund and the Primakov Georgian-Russian Public Center will hold online discussion “The Georgian-Russian Dialogue: Economy during the Pandemic”.
What governmental measures to support businesses and populations are being introduced during the period of the economic downfall due to the coronavirus pandemic? Are they effective? How is the tourist industry – one of the most affected industries of economy – doing today? What will happen next?
The following speakers will present during the discussion:
Leonid Grigoriev, PhD, Professor, Academic Advisor at the Department of World Economy of National Research University – Higher School of Economics (HSE), Chief Advisor to the Head of the Analysis Center under the Government of the Russian Federation (Moscow);
Vakhtang Khomizurashvili, Financial Markets Expert, Vice President (1994-2006) at Tbilisi Interbank Currency Exchange (Tbilisi);
Georgy Dartsimelia, President of the Certified Guides Association of Georgia (Tbilisi).
The discussion will begin at 1:00 pm Moscow time on Friday via Zoom. In order to participate, please, do the following:
