Steinmeier advised not to wait for sudden rapprochement of Europe and Russia

Estrangement between Europe and Russia was growing for about 15 years and has escalated due to the events in Crimea and Ukraine, stated President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier. According to him, one should not expect that Russia and Europe would suddenly become friends, informs Deutsche Welle referencing Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
