The 4th lecture of the series “Lessons of the Future” will be held in Yerevan

On April 21, another “Lesson of the Future” will be held within the framework of the program of the Gorchakov Fund “Russian Perspective” at the Russian-Armenian (Slavic) University.

 

A joint lecture “The Issue of Value and Cultural Fundamentals of Integration Processes in the Eurasian Space” will be dedicated to Russian-Armenian relations in the context of escalation of the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone. Prospects of value and cultural cooperation among states-members of integration projects in the Eurasian space (EEU, CSTO and others), including in media space, will also be discussed during the lectures. Head of the Department of Political Science at the Russian-Armenian (Slavic) University, Associate Professor Dr. Oganes Sarkisyan and expert in the field of information security, blogger and member of the Gorchakov Fund’s Club of Friends Tigran Kocharyan will participate as experts of the lecture.

 

In the fall of 2015 – spring 2016, the Gorchakov Fund jointly with NGO Consensus (Yerevan) launched the series of lectures by Russian and foreign experts on the issues of Eurasian integration and foreign affairs “Lessons of the Future” within the framework of that program at leading universities in Armenia (at the Russian-Armenian (Slavic) University, the Yerevan State University and the Armenian State University of Economics).

 

On February 26, the fifth lecture from the series “Lessons of the Future” was delivered by Belarusian expert in ethnic and cultural studies, political scientist and member of the Gorchakov Fund’s Club of Friends Alexey Dzermant, who presented conditions and prospects of development of the Eurasian integration projects and explained the role of the Republic of Belarus in that process to students of the Yerevan State University and permanent participants of the projects.


The lecture “The Issue of Value and Cultural Fundamentals of Integration Processes in the Eurasian Space” will be held at the Russian-Armenian (Slavic) University on April 21 at 2:30 pm.
