The Dialogue in the Name of the Future, Day 1. New technologies in transformation of international relations
On December 3, the first working day of the 8th Dialogue in the Name of the Future – a large-scale research and educational program with the participation of young experts from different countries – is taking place in Moscow.
The conference was opened by Executive Director of the Primakov Center for Foreign Policy Cooperation, Deputy Executive Director of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund Roman Grishenin. When welcoming the participants, he mentioned that for the second time the Dialogue had been sponsored by the Presidential Grants Foundation. That served as a proof that the program was recognized by the Russian authorities.
According to Roman Grishenin, the key issue of a discussion at the forum will be breaking of the world order and watching its new transformation. In this regard, it is important to analyze synthesis of public diplomacy and modern technologies as a new trend in internationals relations. That particular topic was identified as the main one for the Dialogue by its organizers.
