The Dialogue in the Name of the Future is opening in Moscow

On December 2, the 8th Dialogue in the Name of the Future – a large-scale research and educational program with the participation of young experts from different countries – is opening in Moscow. In addition to discussions of top international problems, one of the main topics of the event will be dedicated to influence of innovation technologies on the system of international relations.

International relations have always been and remain at the intersection of different areas, which allows them adopting and using achievements of both humanities scholars and people of technical thinking. More and more attention is given to social media, which has suddenly revealed itself in big-league politics; active discussions about the role of artificial intelligence in making decisions on an intergovernmental level take place and much more.

The Dialogue in the Name of the Future will unite experts in foreign affairs and modern technologies and will provide the participants and the audience with an opportunity to discuss a wide spectrum of issues and deepen their knowledge in various fields of science about international relations.

The main part of the program will be a traditional meeting between the participants of the project and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

The event will last till December 8. Among the participants are representatives of different countries: Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Belarus, Serbia, Azerbaijan Moldova, USA, Montenegro, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, France, Germany and others.

The Dialogue in the Name of the Future will be the first part of the large-scale International Educational Project “Synthesis of Public Diplomacy and Modern Technologies as a New Trend in International Relations”, which has been sponsored by the Presidential Grants Foundation. The main organizer of the project is the Primakov Center for Foreign Policy Cooperation. The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund and the Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations RAS (IMEMO RAS) have become partners of the event.
