The Eurasian Economic Congress in Moscow. The Gorchakov Fund and the European Communication Center held a session on new security challenges
The 2nd Eurasian Economic Congress was held on the first day of winter in Moscow. Its participants discussed current issues and practical aspects of development of Eurasian integration.
Honorary guests of the respected congress included ministers of the Eurasian Economic Commission Robert Arutyunyan, Tatyana Valovaya, Danil Ibrayev and Andrey Slepnev, Ambassadors of Egypt and Belarus in the Russian Federation Mohamed Al-Badri and Igor Petrishenko, Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Andrey Belyaninov, President of Indian Business Alliance Sammy Kotwani, President of Association “Conoscere Eurasia” and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank Intesa Antonio Fallico.
The delegates of the forum summarized results of the first year of work of the Eurasian Economic Union, discussed the EEU Customs Code, issues of creating a common EEU market for medications, securing investments into infrastructural projects, development of trade and a capital market, cooperation with the EU, Arabic countries, China and India. Within the framework of the congress, the 4th Indian-Russian Business Dialogue was also held.
