The expedition of the members of the Gorchakov Club has reached the farthest point from Moscow in Russia

Employees of MGIMO and members of the Gorchakov Club Aleksey Tokarev and Adlan Margoyev reached the farthest point from Kilometer Zero in Russia during their expedition to the Kuril Islands – Cape Krai Sveta on Shikotan Island. The expedition was taking place on August 11-31 on Iturup, Kunashir and Shikotan. The idea to explore the islands was born a year ago when Aleksey Tokarev and Adlan Margoyev were traveling from Lake Baikal to Kunashir through Buryatia, the Gobi Desert and the Amur region – they were telling about the expedition on Telegram channel “Safety and madness”.
