The Gorchakov Fund and Alexey Fenenko – about “The 300th anniversary of the Peace of Westphalia” on Mediametrics Radio

14 September 2018

On September 16, a meeting with Associate Professor of the Faculty of World Politics at Lomonosov Moscow State University, expert of the Russian International Affairs Council and member of the Gorchakov Fund Dr. Alexey Fenenko will take place on radio show “Geopolitical Kitchen with Igor Shatrov”.

An on-air discussion about current problems of foreign affairs will be held. Alexey Fenenko will also answer the following question: is it possible to find answers to modern questions in the past? The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund will be presented by its expert Victoria Puzanova.

The host and the guests will talk about a new book by Alexey Fenenko “History of International Relations: 1648-1945”. The textbook is dedicated to the history of international relations during the period of time from the Peace of Westphalia (1648) until the end of World War II (1945). A contribution made by the author into research of international relations is unquestionable as the  300th anniversary of the Westphalia Peace is usually studied by historians as part of the common history of international relations until nowadays or fragmentarily (for example, history of international relations in the modern age or in the 20th century).

Radio show “Geopolitical Kitchen with Igor Shatrov” will begin on September 16 at 1:30 pm Moscow time. More details here
