The Gorchakov Fund and Corvinus University held a roundtable in Budapest

A roundtable organized the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund and the Faculty of International Relations of Corvinus University was held in Budapest.

 

Leading Russian scientists represented by Head of the Central and Eastern European Studies Unit at the Institute of Europe RAS Lubov Shishelina, Professor of St. Petersburg University and President of the Department of Post-Communist States in International Relations of the International Studies Association (ISA) Stanislav Tkachenko, Sector Head of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations RAS Sergey Oznobishchev, Professor of MGIMO Tatyana Zonovoa and Associate Professor of St. Petersburg University Natalia Tsvetkova took part in the discussion.

 

Hungary was represented at the roundtable by Dean of the Faculty Dr. László Csicsmann, specialist in Russian philology Dr. László Békési and other respected figures of science.


Modern trends in international relations and different aspects of the foreign policy of both countries were covered within the framework of the discussion. The parties agreed on further academic cooperation.
