The Gorchakov Fund and International Affairs have announced an article contest on the topics of information influence in foreign affairs

International Affairs Journal and the Gorchakov Fund with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia will organize Contest of Young Experts in Foreign Affairs for the best research article dedicated to “Theory and Practice of Information Influence in Foreign Affairs” (public diplomacy, network diplomacy, strategic communications, media and hybrid wars, information confrontation, “soft power”, an information component of humanitarian cooperation). 

Materials accepted for participation in the contest will be published in a special section of the journal.

Age of participants – until 35.

Deadline to submit the articles – by April 20, 2018.

Announcement of the results – May 2018.

Requirements to the materials:

  • logical narration, clear structure, laconism and meaningfulness;
  • original analysis, data-supported assessments, critique, proposals;
  • all quotations and statistical data should be accompanied by references to the source.

Articles in Russian and English are accepted.

Volume – 12-15 pages, 20-27 000 characters with spaces (Times New Roman, 14 ppt, 1.5 line spacing). Information about the author should include a full name (first, patronymic/middle, last name), name of the organization, position, academic degree and title (if available), email address and phone number to contact.
