The Gorchakov Fund announces a lecture about trends of digitization and their consequences
On March 12, a lecture by Rob Van Kranenburg, Founder of European Internet of Things Council, a top expert in the field of digitization, author of the concept “The Internet of Things”, will take place at the Gorchakov Fund in partnership with Research Institute “Dialogue of Civilizations”. The topic of the lecture is “Major Trends of Digitization: Machines, Machine Leaning, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence. What’s Next?”
A modern stage of global economic and social development is characterized by significant influence of digitization. As a new trend of the global social development, it is based on digital representation of information, which is changing an economic and social order of things both in individual countries and the whole world. This process helps to increase economic efficiency and improve quality of life; however, at the same time, it results in a loss of jobs and a number of professions becoming obsolete. That is why a modern person should be constantly learning new technologies.
Rob Van Kranenburg, a famous researcher of digitization from Europe, will tell us what place a human being will have in that digital world of the future and why very soon we will have to learn from artificial intelligence and also why Python is the most popular language to learn today.
After the lecture, the attendees will have an opportunity to take part in a discussion with the speaker.
The discussion will be moderated by PR Director of the Gorchakov Fund John Ksenofontov and Senior Expert for Research and Expert Activities of Research Institute “Dialogue of Civilizations” Nikita Konopaltsev.
