The Gorchakov Fund has announced a contest for grants awards within the framework of the International Youth Forum “Eurasia”
According to a decree by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the International Youth Educational Forum “Eurasia” will be held on the territory of the Orenburg region on September 7-11. Its organizers are the Federal Youth Agency jointly with the Government of the Orenburg Region.
The goal of the forum is to establish an international communication platform for friendly, professional and cultural interaction of young people from the countries of the Eurasian continent united by ideas of the Russian world, love for Russia, its culture and its language. About 800 young researchers and professionals, graduate and post-graduate students from over 90 countries of the Eurasian continent, whose field of work is associated with development of international youth cooperation, interaction with compatriots, studies of the Russian language, culture and history of Russia, will come to the Orenburg region.
Based on an agreement with Rosmolodezh, the Gorchakov Fund will become a partner of the international part of the forum. Leading experts in the field of foreign affairs and alumni of the Fund’s programs will be involved in the work of the forum.
A “conveyor of projects” with personal grants for individuals in the amount of 150-30 000 rubles is planned within the framework of the forum. The Gorchakov Fund will sponsor the best three projects by foreign participants for the total amount of 600 000 rubles.

All the projects will be evaluated by the expert commission and the worthiest ones will be presented at the forum. Results of the first stage of the selection process will be announced on September 5.

In order to better defend your project, training sessions and master classes taught by experts in the field of foreign affairs and representatives of non-profit organizations will be held on September 8 on the sidelines of the forum. The defense of the projects will take place on September 9.
