The Gorchakov Fund has become a media partner of the Russian-German Youth Forum

The II Russian-German Youth Forum “Modernization through the Eyes of the Youth: from Sanctions to a Dialogue” is taking place on the platform of Technical University in Darmstadt. Its organizers are the Graduate Association of Russian-German Youth Parliament DRJUG in cooperation with the Foundation for International Youth Exchanges, Russkiy Mir Foundation and the Gorchakov Fund as a media partner.


The goal of the forum is to provide a platform for a meeting of youth representatives from both countries. Furthermore, the focus is on developing Russian-German relations, destroying stereotypes of each other and mutual negative images, and special attention of the participants is also paid to the problems, solution of which is possible only through exchange of experience and making joint decisions.


The organizers also target the goal of creating a network of young experts from both countries in the field of civil society; holding analysis and a discussion on prospects and opportunities for cooperation on the level of the youth under current realities; developing joint innovative projects for further implementation on a regional level in Russia and Germany.


The discussions within the framework of the forum will cover a role of the youth in the civil societies of Russia and Germany, a migration policy, public health and professional education.


30 young activities (15 representatives from each country) in the age of 18-26, who want to develop relations between the two countries in a long-term perspective, have become the participants of the forum.

The forum will be competed on July 9.
