The Gorchakov Fund organized a roundtable on economic cooperation between Russia and France
On April 19, roundtable “Russia-France: Prospects of Economic Cooperation” was organized at the Gorchakov Fund.
The event was opened by Deputy Executive Director of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund Roman Grishenin. He told about activities of the Fund, its research and educational programs and grant projects, and also expressed confidence in the need to build a dialogue in the area of public diplomacy between Russia and France.
President of UFE Moscou (French Foreign Union) Alexis Tarrade welcomed the audience and made a presentation.
- We are experiencing difficult times and that is why it is important to continue exchanging opinions, - he said.
Advisor to the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, member of the Management Board of the Gorchakov Fund Georgy Petrov made a report on whether economic ties could change the unfavorable political climate.
The agenda of the roundtable was dedicated to the issues of the current political climate, present state and attractiveness of the Russian economy to foreign investors, economic diplomacy.
