The Gorchakov Fund’s Training Courses for NGOs. Call for Applications!

Applications to attend two-day training courses, offered by the Gorchakov Fund to heads of youth NGOs working in the field of foreign affairs, are being accepted.

 

The Gorchakov Fund, while expanding a framework of traditional youth meetings, is offering to attend the training courses of the Gorchakov Fund to heads of youth non-profit organizations implementing projects in the field of public diplomacy and foreign affairs.

 

What are the Training Courses for NGOs offered by the Gorchakov Fund?

 

The new framework of youth projects of the Gorchakov Fund, established with the goal of introducing representatives of Russian and foreign NGOs to principles, methods and opportunities of implementing international projects, includes the following:


  • meetings with representatives of field-specific ministries and agencies, grantmakers in the field of public diplomacy;
  • lectures on public diplomacy and a role of NGOs in foreign affairs and foreign policy;
  • joint activities with a team of the Fund related to preparation and development of your projects;
  • master-classes on the topics of receiving funding, promotion of projects in mass media and social media, and other skills of key importance in implementation of international projects;
  • Russian is a working language of the event.

What opportunities will the Training Courses for NGOs provide?

 

  • to establish direct contacts with field-specific departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and other governmental agencies responsible for international cooperation of Russia as well as with grantmakers in the field of foreign activities of NGOs;
  • to discuss a role of the non-profit sector in foreign policy and different aspects of development of public diplomacy with experts;
  • to acquire important skills in implementation of international projects;
  • to learn how to file applications for grants of the Gorchakov Fund and other grantmakers in the field of foreign activities of NGOs;
  • to find partners among other NGOs.
