The III Youth Forum of the Potsdam Meetings in Moscow. Call for applications!
The German-Russian Forum and the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund begin accepting applications for participation in the III Youth Forum of the Potsdam Meetings. The topic of the coming event is “Beautiful New World? Digital Future as an Opportunity for Russian-German Cooperation”.
Specifics of relations between Moscow and Berlin require new forms of a constructive and mutually interesting dialogue, which should engage not just experienced politicians involved in making governmental decisions, but also young experts and public figures. Building of such a dialogue and ongoing multiway cooperation are opening today a wide field for activities by young political scientists and experts in foreign affairs. Their assessments and recommendations have a special meaning under current global crises. While new public realities and demands are emerging in the world, we need new approaches, expert assessment and recommendations from young experts. They will have to be developed by participants of the III Youth Forum of the Potsdam Meetings.
The format of the event includes an open exchange of opinions on the most important topics of the bilateral cooperation as well as discussion with the participation of representatives of the governmental sector and the expert community of both countries.
Dates of the forum: November 2-4, 2018.
Who can become a participant?
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students, post-gradates, representatives of government and NGOs and other experts in IT, international relations, history, political science, journalism, economics and law.
Age of participants: 20-35.
The group of participants will be formed based on the results of the contest.
