The International School of Eurasian Integration – 2018. Call for applications!
Applications are being accepted for participation in the International School of Eurasian Integration – 2018 “The Eurasian Economic Union: Shaping the Outline of the Future”. It is a short-term scientific and educational program targeting professional development of experts in several areas simultaneously. Its organizers are the Russian International Affairs Council, the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Eurasian Development Bank.
Participants of the program will gain deep and specialized knowledge based on the topics of the school. It will allow them acquiring a complex vision of integration problems of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
The gained knowledge will be applied in practice in the process of developing an analytical product (foresight, roadmap, scenario, etc.), which will aim at resolving a specific issue of integration within the EEU listed in the topics of the school.
Lectures, training sessions, open discussion and master classes targeting acquiring and deepening of knowledge about realities of the Eurasian integration and development of practical skills (negotiating skills, art of presentation, coordination of negotiating positions and others) required for creation of the analytical product and useful for further professional activities of the participants of the school are planned to be held.
Besides the economic component of the program, special attention will be paid to development of the social-humanitarian area, issues of cooperation with other international associations, media coverage of the EEU’s activities, opportunities of extending the cooperation through civil societies of the member countries, establishing inter-university ties, implementation of joint academic and scientific programs.
Forms of teaching:
- master classes, lectures, open discussion and roundtables;
- workshops on development of analytical skills;
- training sessions on presentation development skills;
- working on an analytical project in groups.
Dates of the program: October 1-5, 2018
Location - Moscow.
Terms of participation: the organizers will provide accommodation and meals. Travel expenses will be paid by the participants.
Young experts, scientists, diplomats, college instructors, entrepreneurs, governmental officials, representatives of business and NGOs, bloggers from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia interested in the topics of the Eurasian integration, fluent in Russian, ages 21-35, are invited to apply.
