The NGO Courses: Day 2
The second day of the training courses for heads and managers of NGO projects in foreign policy began with a panel discussion about priorities of development of the non-governmental sector in Russia. Representatives of grant-issuing organizations – the Russkiy Mir Foundation, the Presidential Grants Foundation and the Federal Youth Agency (Rosmolodezh) – took part in the discussion.
Each organization presented a report about its activities, frameworks of work, vision of development of the non-governmental sector in Russia and its priority areas.
Head of Projects at the Department of Expert Assessment and Monitoring of the Presidential Grants Foundation Radmila Davydova made a detailed presentation about cooperation with NGOs.
Deputy Executive Director of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Sergei Shurygin mentioned that in addition to issuing grants, the Russkiy Mir Foundation was providing support to the Russian language all over the world.
Deputy Head of International Relations Unit at the Administration for Youth Projects and Programs of Rosmolodezh Valery Savelyev told about specifics and differences of cooperation with individuals and NGOs.
In the afternoon the participants will take part in the workshop on proper preparation of financial and analytical reports and specifics of work with the stakeholders.
The NGO Courses Program was created with the goal of introducing representatives of Russian and foreign non-governmental organizations to principles, methods and opportunities of implementation of international projects. The event will end on February 29.
