The Potsdam Meetings in Moscow: “Europe from Lisbon to Vladivostok. The Only Way to Europe’s Stability”
On November 8, an international conference the Potsdam Meetings, organized by the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund and the German-Russian Forum, will be held in Moscow.
The seminar with the participation of prominent representatives of civil societies of both countries has been held since 1990. This time, the theme of the conference is “Europe from Lisbon to Vladivostok: The only Way to Europe’s Stability”.
During the Potsdam Meetings, 30 high-level officials from Russia and Germany will discuss world politics at a tipping point, common views and differences in perspectives of Russia and the West on the US elections and the Russian State Duma elections, on Brexit, issues of terrorism, events in the Middle East and Ukraine. A direct, open and intensive exchange of opinions is expected.
A press briefing will be held based on the results of the conference.
