The Potsdam Meetings: opinions and comments

On November 8, another session of the Potsdam Meetings has completed. The conference annually brings together prominent representatives of civil societies, figures of art and culture, publicists and diplomats from Russia and Germany to discuss the most pressing issues of the international agenda and bilateral relations in different fields.

 

The participants of the forum were welcomed by Executive Director of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund Leonid Drachevsky, who mentioned importance of such meetings. According to him, development of a platform for holding an open and honest dialogue is especially important today because the world is at the stage of systematic changes, when brand new approaches to resolve emerging problems need to be jointly developed.
