The Primakov International Contest. 20 finalists have been announced!

The first stage of the Primakov International Contest of Academic Research Papers by Students on the Issues of the Middle East, organized by the Primakov Center for Foreign Policy Cooperation and the Center for Oriental Studies, International Relations and Public Diplomacy with the support of the Institute of Oriental Studies RAS and the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, has been completed.


Total of 138 applications were submitted to the Contest Committee, including from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine/DPR, Estonia as well as from several Russian cities (Moscow, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Barnaul, Kemerovo, Yekaterinburg, Voronezh, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, Alexandrov, Saratov, Belgorod, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Orel, Kirov, Krasnodar, Nizhnevartovsk, Tambov, Vladimir, Tyumen, Vologda, Makhachkala, Perm, Simferopol, Georgiyevsk, and Pyatigorsk).


The Organizing Committee has made a decision to select 20, but not 15 finalists.


The winners will be announced at the conference, which will be held on April 15.
