The RAMI Convention took place in Moscow with the support of the Gorchakov Fund
The 13th Convention of the Russian Association of International Studies (RAMI) has ended at MGIMO under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. The project of the MGIMO Alumni Association was organized with the grant support of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.
Over 1500 Russian and foreign researchers, scientists and experts took part in the two-day event and made presentations during 20 panel discussions and roundtables.
A panel discussion of the Gorchakov Fund “Soft Power of Russia in the Changing World” was organized on the sidelines of the event. Speakers – top strategists and practitioners of public diplomacy – discussed fundamental basics of the soft power of Russia, defined a circle of problems and prospects of the national “soft” influence in Europe and the CIS countries – in Central Asia and South Caucasus. A topic of the youth track of international cooperation in Russia has been separately discussed.
