The School of Eurasian Integration is opening in Moscow

On October 1, the International School of Eurasian Integration “The Eurasian Economic Union: Shaping the Outline of the Future” will open in Moscow. Organizers of the school are the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the Eurasian Development Bank and the Russian International Affairs Council.

The opening ceremony will take place at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). Participants will be welcomed by Chairman of the EEC Board Tigran Sarkisyan, member of the EEC Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics Tatyana Valovaya, Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank Andrey Belyaninov, Deputy Executive Director of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund Roman Grishenin and Director for Development of the Russian International Affairs Council Alexander Kramarenko.

The International School of Eurasian Integration is a short-term research and educational program targeting professional development of experts in several areas simultaneously. Lectures by representatives of government agencies, business, expert and academic communities of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) have been scheduled. This will allow the participants acquiring a complex vision of integration problems.

The attendees will be provided with a comprehensive view of the Eurasian economic association – starting from the history of creation of the Union to its modern state and prospects of development. They will learn about opportunities, which the EEU opens for business as well as about results of the integration, which has become an inseparable part of life of citizens in the EEU’s member states. Special attention will be given to the international aspect of EEU’s activities, its positon on the global arena, opportunities for further development of the Eurasian integration under conditions of the changing world architecture.

The opening ceremony of the school will take place at the Eurasian Economic Commission at 2/2 Letnikovskaya St., Moscow, Conference Hall of the EEC Board. The event will be open for mass media.
