“The Turkish Stream and Prospects of Relations between Moscow and Ankara”. A lecture by Vladimir Avatkov at the Gorchakov Fund

The Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund invites you to attend a lecture by Russian turkologist Vladimir Avatkov about the launch of the Turkish Stream, which will take place in Moscow on January 20.

The current state of affairs, specifics and prospects of the Russian-Turkish relations in view of the official opening of gas deliveries through the Turkish Stream gas pipeline, which took place on January 8 with the participation of presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will be covered during the lecture by Vladimir Avatkov, senior researcher at IMEMO RAS, Associate Professor of the Diplomatic Academy under MFA of Russia, Director of the Center of Oriental Studies, International Relations and Public Diplomacy and member of the Gorchakov Club. The speaker will also present a set of books about the Turkish foreign and national policies published by Urait.
