Vladimir Kozin: When and why will nuclear weapons be destroyed?

Since the middle of the last century, the superpowers have stopped fighting each other directly. However, armed conflicts, mostly regional ones, have not disappeared, but have started developing either on restricted territories (Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Syria) or have turned into “hybrid wars”. It has mostly happened due to the fact that all parties of the potential military confrontation possess nuclear arms in such quantities that there will be no winner in the nuclear war.
